But with added context, connections, and tools, they become a vital part of project and team coordination.

You can create a new workspace and begin listing your to-do items immediately — perfect for brainstorming, planning, or tracking cross-project tasks.

That said, each projectA collection of parts, quantities, materials, job files, client information, and pricing (if applicable). also contains its own built-in workspace, located within the project’s chatroom. These to-do items also show up directly on your project cards in dashboard views.

Additional Features

When creating a to-do item, you’re not limited to just a simple text field. Just like many workspace elements, to-do items come with a menu of icons that enable advanced features and rich context.

Here are some what you can do with a to-do item:

Comment

Start a comment thread directly within the to-do item. This is great for discussions, updates, and clarification.

Tag Someone

Tag someone from your team, and they will receive notifications whenever comments are added to the to-do item.

Set Priority

Flag the item with a priority, such as Urgent.

Link to Project

Link to a projectA collection of parts, quantities, materials, job files, client information, and pricing (if applicable).. Clicking the link will take you straight to that project.

Link to Part

Link to a modelA digital representation of the physical object that will be created (STL, STP, etc.). within any project. Clicking the link will take you straight to that model.

Link to Machine

Link to a machineA device used to produce models, such as a 3D printer. Machines are configured in the Machines and Capabilities section under Settings., useful for maintenance tasks or issues tied to specific equipment.

Attach File

Attach any file you would like.

Add External Link

Link out to any resource, such as a supplier page (e.g., McMaster-Carr or Amazon), documentation, etc.
